How do I retrieve a lost password or change it altogether?
Note: For security reasons, if you type the wrong password three successive times, your account will become locked until you reset your password.
If you are not able to log in and are receiving the message "Invalid email or password" in the top-left of your screen, then click the Forgot your password? link on the Log In screen. From the Forgot your password? screen, enter your e-mail address in the Email field and click Send me reset password instructions. You will receive an email with instructions for resetting your password; follow the instructions in the e-mail.
See the article Registering and Logging In for detailed information.
Which browsers are compatible with Caliper's Client Portal?
Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer versions 9 to 11, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, and Maxthon are all fully compatible with the Client Portal. Just make sure that you are using the most recent version of your browser. Edge, Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Opera, and Firefox are designed to update automatically, but if you are having trouble navigating the Client Portal, try manually downloading the latest version of the browser.
Here are some links for obtaining the latest versions of various browsers.
Note: Those wishing to get the latest Safari upgrades will have to upgrade to the latest operating system. In a similar vein, Microsoft Edge was created for and will only run on Windows 10.
I receive this error message: "You are using an old version of Internet Explorer." What should I do?
When in Internet Explorer version 7 or lower, the Caliper Client Portal will not work, and the following message will appear:
The basic features of the new portal — such as ordering and viewing reports — will work in Internet Explorer 8, but Analytics (cMetrics and cTalent) will not. If you are using Internet Explorer, Analytics requires version 9 or higher. For the best Caliper experience, use the latest version of Internet Explorer available for your version of Windows.
Does Internet Explorer's Compatibility View aid in the client portal's functionality?
No. It will do exactly the opposite, so do not use this mode. Compatibility View causes a newer version of Internet Explorer to read a website as though it were Internet Explorer 7 or below. Internet Explorer 7 and below will not render the Caliper Portal properly. Therefore, regardless of the version, Internet Explorer will not work with the new portal if Compatibility View is turned on.
How do I turn off Compatibility View in Internet Explorer?
Under the gear icon in the top right of Internet Explorer, select Compatibility View Settings. If you are viewing a site that is showing in Compatibility View, unselect the Compatibility View checkbox. If you don't want any sites to show in Compatibility View, remove any sites that are listed and unselect all checkboxes at the bottom.
How do I know which version of Internet Explorer I am using?
Under the gear icon in the top right of Internet Explorer, select About Internet Explorer. The About Internet Explorer screen will appear, detailing which version you are using.
