Changing the Password for the Client Portal
After being activated for the Caliper Client Portal, you will receive a welcome email.
To begin using the Caliper Client Portal, follow these steps:
- Open the email, and click Reset Password. The New User Registration dialog appears.
- Enter your new password in the New Password
- Re-enter your new password in the Confirm New Password
- Click Set My Password. The Log In screen appears.
Logging In to the Client Portal
To log in to the Portal using your email address:
- Enter your email address in the Email field (It may appear automatically).
- In the Password field, enter the password you just established.
Note: On a privately used machine, you can select the Remember me on this computer checkbox. This will automatically enter your email address in future sessions, saving you a step.
3. Click Log In. The Caliper Client Portal Dashboard appears with a one-time message asking that you agree to the site's use of cookies.
4. Click Accept to agree.
Resetting a Forgotten Password
For security reasons, if you type the wrong password three successive times, your account will become locked, and you will have to reset your password. If you forget your password, or if your account becomes locked, click the Forgot your password? link and follow the prompts. You must be able to access the email associated with the Caliper Portal in order to reset your password.
If you enter invalid login credentials, an "Invalid email address or password" message appears in the upper-left corner of the screen.
If this happens, you will need to reset your password.
1. Click the Forgot your password? link on the Log In page. A dialog with the title Forgot your password? appears.
2. Enter your email address in the Email
3. Click Send me reset password instructions. The following message appears:
Shortly, you will receive an email with instructions and a link to reset your password:
4. Click Reset Password, or click the link in this email. The Change your password screen
5. Enter your new password in the New Password
6. Reenter your new password in the Confirm New Password
7. Click Change my password. The Log In dialog appears.
8. Enter your email and your new password.
9. Click Log In. The Dashboard
